I acquired my first show French Bulldog in 2000. Previously I had owned Bullmastiffs and went under the same Greenmont name. I am a hobby breeder who shows conformation and obedience. My goal has been to produce a French Bulldog that makes a good family companion that is healthy, sound in temperment, and one that comes close or meets the breed standard. Anyone looking to purchase a French Bulldog needs to research the breed and understand that this is a dog breed that does not do well being left alone for hours, can’t tolerate heat, can’t swim and comes with a few health problems. Some of these problems are spinal abnormalities, breathing difficulties, luxating patellas, and allergies. You can find references regarding the health of the French Bulldog on the French Bulldog Club website at http://www.frenchbulldogclub.org

Located in beautiful Royalton, Vermont, owners, Adrienne and Pete operate 2 farms under the name DosMartinos.  Both properties, totaling 140 acres, offer incredible scenic views, miles of dirt roads for horseback riding or hiking with my dogs, easy access to the VAST snowmobile trails and just 1 mile from the White River for some great trout fishing.

Adrienne, a 1987 graduate of Vermont Law School, and her husband, Pete, a farmer, love the Vermont life.   Adrienne is the Woodstock Dog Club Show Chair and AKC Delegate, Member and Assistant Secretary for the French Bulldog Club of America, and Member of the American Bullmastiff Association and the Bay State Bullmastiff Club.

Pete is a gardener for several area estates in the summer and a snow maker and ski lift operator at Suicide Six ski resort in the winter.  Pete is an active member of our local snowmobile club, the Ridge Runners, and tends to the day to day operations of the farm where we board horses, grow our own hay, raise beef cattle (herefords), and always have fresh eggs available.
