The Kennel name “Hallmark” epitomizes our philosophy. Just like a Hallmark Card, each one of our puppies is unique and special. Our dogs are a part of our family and our lives. Here at Hallmark our philosophy is to breed the very best example of what a French Bulldog should be and with each breeding strive to produce beautiful, healthy and fun loving Frenchies.
We are located in beautiful East Tennessee. We are dedicated to producing soundness, type and personality in our French Bulldogs. Our emphasis is on health, temperament and structure.
We breed a litter to enhance and improve the breed as well as the dogs we own. All of our puppies are home raised with children, cats, and other dogs and are exposed to new sights, sounds and experiences. We believe that research and education is essential before embarking on a wonderful, fun filled life with a Frenchie.
We are members of the French Bulldog Club of America and the Southeast French Bulldog Club. Please feel free to contact us with any questions concerning Frenchies. Look for us at shows throughout the Southeast.
Byrum’s French Bulldog’s was established years ago when our first Frenchie arrived in Oak Ridge, TN.
Since that time we have learned how to show and raise Frenchies and enjoy every minute with them. Our goal in breeding French Bulldogs is to help improve the breed through good health and temperament. We health test our Frenchies!
We are located at the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains! We strive to breed quality AKC French Bulldogs; resulting in quality French Bulldog puppies. We breed, first & foremost, for good health. Second, for great temperament. And third, for looks. We pride ourselves on producing fabulous looking dogs with an attitude that is just as attractive as his/her appearance. All of our breeding males and females have health certifications through the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals; better known as OFA. The French Bulldog breed requirements are Heart, Hip, Patella and Thyroid Certified. As well as CERF Eye Certified. Our long term goal is to have CHIC number on all of our breeding males & females!
We are also going to begin showing some of our Frenchies this year! We will be showing our dogs in the IABCA (International All Breed Canine Association) shows.
I have been in love with dogs since I was a little girl, and the fact that my mother was involved in showing only heightened my interest. My mother showed sporting dogs, but said I could pick my breed. I chose Pugs. I showed in Jr. Showmanship and went to Westminster one year with a pug.
When I graduated from College, I left the show world. After I got married, Phyllis Williams gave us a Pug. I showed him a few times in conformation but then I got involved in the Obedience World.
My husband, parents and I went to watch Westminster one year and I fell in love with the Frenchies. I researched breeders and found Stella through a very nice breeder in Ohio, Sandy Wilson of Stellar Frenchies. We soon had our first child and 10 months later another child, so no dog shows for us.
My husband, Dave, and I live in Taylors, SC and have two children, Eli our son and Elise our daughter.
