CARAMURU.png

Caramuru Kennel was established in 2006 when Fernanda fell in love with a puppy (SpitFire). That little puppy stole her heart from day one, and driven by this love, she decided to make the relationship the start of a new beginning.

Fernanda was already absolutely in love with the Boston Terrier breed, when in one of the dog shows they went to, her husband Roger met a French Bulldog and was awestruck at how gorgeous and sweet they were. It all started as a joke, but shortly after that day Fernanda and her husband were studying yet another breed and planning to bring home their first French Bulldog.

Focusing on showing and developing champions, as well as quality companions, showing is Fernanda’s hobby and her passion. She enjoys participating in the showing/breeding Community and is a member of the Boston Terrier Club of America, French Bulldog Club of America, Boston Terrier Club of New York, Sierra Gold Boston Terrier Club and Minuteman Boston Terrier Club.

JOLIE.png

Jolie French Bulldogs is located in Santa Monica, California. As a Boutique Breeder and Exhibitor I do not breed very often, so only on occasion will I have a several puppies available to loving qualified forever homes.

I screen all potential families carefully and am very selective in the placement of my precious babies. My dogs are treated as part of my family, live in my home, sleep close to me at night and go on daily outings / walks with me because I enjoy their company and in order to become properly socialized happy pooches.

VonDuran Frenchies.JPG

Welcome to Vonduran our names are John and Jacquie Duran we live in Lake County,Ca.
Animals have always played an important role in our family and growing up as childern ourselves.
Our incredible journey began in this sport 20 years ago.John was at a dog show with our boxer when he seen his conformation instructor June Bracisco with a French Bulldog.I then began our research on this curious breed.John and I remained on the waiting lists of two breeders one list almost one year.
We followed Sue Woynilko of Suma’s Frenchies to shows almost two years. When she realized we weren’t stalking her,she came to our home for a home inspection.Shortly after Suma’s Petite Sirah Of Vonduran joined our family.Sue became a wonderful  friend and mentor. We promised to protect her bloodlines which were like the creation and refinement of a  really fine wine.We  lost Sue to lung cancer but,her legacy remains in the bloodlines behind our breeding program.

We belonged to The Northern Ca.French Bulldog Club John served two terms as second vice president and recently served his 5th  term on the board of directors of the NCFBC.

I belong to The French Bulldog Club Of America we’ve attended three National Specialties.
Our other intererests include  Baseball,Bocce Ball and visiting our favorite wineries for picnics.
We primarily breed for ourselves averaging one or  two litters per year.
We  place our puppies in  Northern California and all those seriously considering our frenchies must fillout an application for any future consideration.
Yes we’ve been told we’re difficult to obtain a frenchie from but,we want nothing but the best for our pups and this enchanting breed….

Mon Petit Chou.jpg
We feel so blessed to have found the incredibly adorable French Bulldog.  We have been showing and breeding them since 1991.  We have over 20 Conformation Champions and 3 highly titled Agility girls, including 2 that have their Excellent Titles.

The French Bulldog is so comical and entertaining .  You cannot get mad at them.  Why???   Because they are just too cute.  Even their slight stubbornness is irresistible and will only make you laugh.  Maybe the Frenchie is not for everyone (you really should have a sense of humor to live with one), but  most who meet them find them unlike other dog breeds.  They really are unique and they will steal your heart.

The import of French Bulldogs into the USA is huge at the moment.  Please be careful not to get caught up in buying a puppy that is from a broker or irresponsible breeder.  Also, the dogs you find in a Pet Shop are usually from a Puppy Mill situation.  No responsible breeder would ever put their puppies in a Pet Shop to be placed.  Responsible breeders want to know where their puppies go, and interview the prospective buyers to make sure that the puppy and the people are suited for each other.  All puppies are cute – Just beware!!!

Carob Frenchies.JPG

Our love for animals began as young children. Bob grew up with Pointers, Carole with a Boston Terrier. When we married we had a cat or two, also a couple of dogs. In the late 60s we fell in love with the Burmese cat, that started us on the showing of pedigreed cats. We continued with breeding and showing cats, Bob went into the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) judging program in 1981, and is still actively judging cat shows on a limited basis. Shortly thereafter we bought our first show Boston Terrier, Ch Tambo’s Goodie Gumdrop “Goodie” and we were then hooked on showing in AKC. While showing our Boston we discovered the French Bulldog, and were determined to find the right one for us. We were very fortunate to meet and purchase our first Frenchie from Doug Cass, Ch Player Fannietuck “Tush”. Doug taught us so much from the start and we will forever be appreciative for all of his guidance. You can see photos of “Goodie” and “Tush” on our Memories page.

Through the years we have enjoyed the friends we have made, not only with French Bulldog and Boston breeders, but also have gotten to know many others who show other breeds of dogs. We strive for quality, health and temperament.

We are members of the French Bull Dog Club of America and the French Bulldog Fanciers of Southern California. We also are active show participants in AKC shows within Southern California.

Starcreek Frenchies.jpg

I got my first French Bulldog in 1999, and I was hooked!  This is a comical little breed and their funny little antics will make you laugh everyday!
Our dogs are a part of our family and live IN THE HOUSE with us!

OUR dogs go hiking and even go kayaking with us, but ONLY when wearing their lifejackets.

We believe a well bred Frenchie should be able to go with you anywhere!  Unfortunately, Frenchies can be riddled with genetic health problems, therefore, our dogs are screened and tested to confirm health and soundness.  We can then be selective when we plan our breedings. Breeders will only be able to improve this wonderful breed, by discriminatory breeding practices.  I pride myself in breeding beautiful, healthy, structurally sound and well socialized dogs!

Starlette Frenchies.jpg

A groomer who is now retired, We have always been blessed to be in the animal industry.  We have raised and showed dogs for well over 20 year. We are committed to raising quality, healthy stable-tempered French Bulldogs.    OFA Health testing.

Floresta Farms.jpg

We are Jean Burns, DVM and Chris Durham, the owners and caretakers here at Floresta. We are a small show kennel located on five acres in southeast Florida amid a tropical paradise. One of our passions is the raising, breeding and showing of our French Bulldogs.  We became interested in French Bulldogs after meeting several while in Amsterdam attending the 2002 World Dog Show. We fell in love with the true character of a French bulldog, including their unmistakable exuberance and clown like disposition.

Framke’s French Bulldogs.jpeg

We breed for quality not quantity, so the Champions we do produce are to improve the breed not stack up a large number of Champions to prove I have breeding skills many of our dogs in the process of finishing their Championship place in the non sporting  group and very few of our bitches are finished by our choice, but most have been showed to make sure they have what it takes to be in our breeding program, many getting Best of Opposite Sex from the puppy classes over Champion Specials.  Most Males we use for breeding are shown to Championship and we have produced  Top Ten Nationally Ranked French Bulldogs, Best of Winners at Breed Specialty Show, Best In Show at FBDCA Specialty.  I will be slowing down my breeding operation  to spend more time with my grand baby and will not show as much, if at all, but now I will share my line with  those interested in show or who want a top quality healthy beautiful pet.  I love breeding so much I can not see stopping that anytime soon and will be most helpful to those who are new to breeding and showing this breed.

Enchante French Bulldogs.jpg

Welcome to Enchante French Bulldogs.   This is our first attempt at a website, so please bear with us as we continue to build and improve it.  And don’t forget to check back often for updates!

Our love affair with the french bulldog began in 2004, when we purchased our first frenchie from Kris and John Affeldt of Affabulls French Bulldogs.  Little did I know  at that time how lucky I was to have AKC Ch. Affabulls Girl’s Best Friend, A.K.A. Cody, become a member of our family.  The whole family was smitten immediately.  From that moment on, we’ve been taken for a ride and we’ve never looked back.

Vixbull French Bulldogs.jpg
Ponchatoula, Louisiana, USA

Welcome to the Vixbull French Bulldogs Website. We have a small and select AKC French Bulldogs breeding program in Louisiana. Above anything else, our Frenchies are members of our family. Their beds are our couches, their rooms are our living room and bedroom, and we thoroughly enjoy their company.

We always aim to improve the breed, by planning matings according to the breed standard proposed by the American Kennel Club (AKC), health testing our Frenchies, participating in Dog Shows and working so that our puppies are excellent companion dogs above it all.

This website is a collection of information we have put together for those who wish to get to know us better or maybe own a French Bulldog, and for those who are lucky to be owned by a Vixbull baby…

MarNo.JPG

It began when we bought a pet for our daughter and instantly fell in love with the breed. In usual fashion, I began to read everything I could find out about Frenchies and various bloodiness. I wanted to know more – and studies my newest passion with great determination.

Nona was my second Frenchie, hence the name of our kennel “MarNo.”

Needless to say, the Frenchie gremlins began to take over my heart and life.

Encore_slider_1-ENCORE.jpg

Once there was a little spotted dog named BOOMER. He was the very first French Bulldog to come live with us here at Encore. We were immediately infected with a serious case of French Bulldog Fever and there is no known cure except for FRENCHIES!

Now ENCORE French Bulldogs is home to group winning, multiple specialty winning, fancy schmancy show dogs. But it all began with one little spotted dog…BOOMER. While Boomer is now guiding us from the Other Side, we know he is with us and watching over us.

And so Encore French Bulldogs began.

Fronteer.JPG

Like all breeders, we intend to breed to the French Bulldog standard. While interpretations of the standard may vary we will never compromise on health or temperament. Our breeding stock has been X-rayed normal or OFA approved – Hips and Patellas, Eyes & Heart CERF’d and DNA tested for juvenile cataracts. Our stock is bred only to dogs of equal or greater quality, always trying to achieve that “perfect machine”.

Here at Fronteer Frenchies we truly aim for a puppy that can comfortably make the transition from our family to yours.  While we breed for show, we do sell a number of pups as “pet quality”.

Pet Quality puppies are sold on a LIMITED registration. These puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club, but can not be used for breeding. This is to protect the quality of the line and integrity of our breeding program.

I have been involved in dogs since I can remember. I grew up in New York where my father was a New York City Police officer in the narcotic/K-9 division. We raised and trained Rottweilers for the police department many years ago. Feeding, obedience training and attack work was a daily routine growing up. On the opposite side of the spectrum, my family attended Westminster dog shows annually, growing up in New York certainly had its advantages! As a youngster watching adults in glamorous gowns showing impeccably groomed dogs made my heart skip a beat. I can honestly say Westminster Dog Show is where I got my “dog show bug”.

As an adult I pursued as many fields as I could that involved working with animals, especially dogs. I’ve worked as a veterinarian technician for a clinic that not only treated dogs, cats and reptiles but also our local zoo animals. I’ve been employed in the pet food industry and volunteered with our local police department’s K-9 unite for several years. Once I decided to get married and start a family I left the field I loved (due to the fact it also kept me out of the house all hours of the day and night) for the “Corporate World” where I worked for an international corporation’s legal department for over 20 years.  Now, I’m happily retired and a grandmother of six incredible grandchildren.

I believe my experience, and education has afforded me the luxury of being above average when it comes to canine health, nutrition, behavior and conformation. For more information regarding French Bulldog’s unique health needs can be found under the HEALTH tab of my web site.

Crestagard Frenchies.JPG

A little about me…….it was in 1993 that I lost my last pug, Toots and  I was devastated.   My  constant shadow was gone, my home  was very lonely, and  I yearned for a furry little somebody to kiss and love.  While reading a dog magazine, I came across a picture of a frenchie with his owner.   At that moment I knew I wanted one so,   I began a  frantic search for a frenchie, and within 3 weeks I was the ecstatic owner of my first french bulldog, Louie……For the first year and a half, Louie reigned supreme, learning tricks and entertaining everyone that stopped by.  Well, one just wasn’t enough, and eventually I searched for another to join Louie.  My second frenchie was Prissy…..a pied girl that I adored………Since then I have had many wonderful frenchies, all like kids, all different and unique.  The queen of my heart was Tutti, Queen Supreme….(aka Tori…Ch. Shann’s Toy Story) she went everywhere with me…..slept with me, she was the head Bitch!  Tutti was  my rock, thru tough times and more, she was there to love and be loved.  Her daughter, Sissy, took her rightful place  next to her, and so it continued.  I was consumed by this special breed of dogs, I love all things about them..
Over the years I began showing my frenchies, Prissy, my little pied girl was the first of them. Although I am not a professional, my frenchies and I have done very well in the show ring.  I have shown many of the  frenchies I’ve bred  to their championships.
This passion of mine has been a gift to me….these little dogs are a great part of my life, both past, present, and God willing, my future.  So many wonderful things have happened because of them.
One important thing as you look for a frenchie:  do your research before you adopt.  Check this breed closely, they do have health issues you need to be aware of.,  Also, get to know your breeder, make sure you are totally comfortable with them, and ask lots of questions.
