My Husband is a Disabled Post 911 Veteran and I work from home. We are the parents of 8 children ranging in age from 21-5, and to our 6 Frenchies.
We also have a beautiful granddaughter!
We are a small hobby breeder of AKC Registered French Bulldogs. We don’t breed to produce “fad colors” or “designer dogs”. Our pups are bred to AKC Standard and are raised in our home with love. They are spoiled rotten and well socialized. The only problem our dogs have is that they don’t know they are dogs!
Our hobby kennel, French Passion, specializes in breeding best types of French bulldogs and is offering charming French bulldog puppies. French bulldog breeder is located in Richmond, Virginia and we can also organize interstate domestic shipping.
The origin of this breed is in the faraway past, and though the French bulldog is named French, Germany also claims the right of having that breed’s origin roots.
In the modern world the love of this breed goes far beyond the German and French borders. A charming appearance, and a nice, balanced and cheerful character gain people’s sympathies all over the world. The exact and short characteristic of this breed is seen in the metaphor “A philosopher in a clown’s body”.
I have been involved with bulldogs for over 25 years as an owner, rescuer, breeder, and as an exhibitor. When my wife and I were first together I told her that I would have a bulldog until the day that I died and even though she never had one before, she said okay. It did not take long for her to fall in love with the breed as well. This love for bulldogs has now been passed to the next generation. My family and I absolutely adore our wrinkly family members. There is nothing more sweet then the sourmug of a bulldog and no breed more expressive.
Our puppies are AKC Registered & Champion Sired. Our puppy pedigrees have a solid history of 56 Champions in a 5 year pedigree of 126. Our pedigrees are loaded with champions because we breed only to Champion Sires!
All of our adorable puppies come with AKC Registration, Health Certificate, Current set of shots, Dewormed and with a Health warranty.
Puppies are raised inside our home (not a puppy mill!) and come pre-spoiled by our children. They are socialized and have great temperaments.

French Bulldogs may look tough on the outside, but inside they are lovably soft, caring and easygoing. These dogs spread the good vibes wherever they go. Outgoing and open, they love nothing more than to cuddle on the couch, romp on the carpet or play in the yard. Boasting unlimited energy (for about 20 minuts), they sometimes have no idea when (or how) to stop their motors. Then its time for a 2 hour nap. But, with a Frenchie, things never get out of hand. They rarely lose their cool, snap or bark. They simply want to roll around and play. Great for apartments and city life, French Bulldogs can deal with confined spaces and known how to turn on the charm with new people. Everyone is family unless they since someone is trying to harm their human family then, and only then, will they protest with furious barks. French Bulldogs are pleasant and sociable companions with few faults. The worst you could say about them is that they might snore—and you can quickly get used to that. They are people-oriented dogs that crave attention and interaction.

Hello I’m Kristen Henager, wife of Wayne Henager, and mother of a beautiful daughter named Cadince. While growing up my mother was a breeder of show Cocker Spaniels; inspiring my love to grow towards breeding. At 18 I became a veterinary technician where I quickly worked my way up to emergency and critical care. Since beginning my career I have spent 14 years as a veterinary technician. I have always loved everything and anything to do with baby animals and their nursing mothers. That love is still leading me to have now raised tons of bottle babies while cherishing every minute of it. One of my favorite things is bringing little baby animals into this world. I earned the nick name ” The Baby Lady” amongst my peers in my technical profession, because I never give up on babies and will do anything to help them thrive. Being in the vet field for such a long time I have seen just about everything. I thoroughly understand the importance of pet health. This experience both personally and professionally is why pet health concern, as well as overall appearance is the core foundational focus of Cowtown Frenchies.
We have been breeding and loving French Bulldogs for over 15 years and loving every minute of it! We prefer the more unusual colors here…like our red pieds, red fawns, fawn pieds and brindle pieds. Of course, we DO have a few adorable creams and a darling brindle or two around here, just to make sure no one’s feelings are hurt, but pieds are our passion.
My husband, Perry, and I now have nine grandchildren living within five minutes of us, so much of our spare time is spent doing grandma and grandpa stuff, and we would not have it any other way! So, we do not make it to dog shows anymore…or anything else that does not revolve around the grandkids!
